On the Nokia N95 phone, is it possible for me to lock out any access
to the Internet (browsing and downloading) whilst retaining normal
telephone speech and SMS functionality? I can't find anything about
that option in the Nokia User Manual and wonder if it might be an
undocumented feature.
If it can't be done by keystrokes on the handset, can O2, my service
provider, inhibit it for me on request - even though they probably won't
be too keen about losing possible revenue by doing it ?
My phone came with free voice guided navigation. It seems to me that
this would continue to operate using the maps stored on the N95s memory
card even if Internet access were inhibited - am I correct in this
assumption?
TIA - Dave

Just erase the internet settings or have your network provider disable
GPRS.

I onced asked O2 about completely turning off incoming AND outgoing SMS
on my phone. They didn't like that idea either.
